About KSLT

The Kyrgyzstan Social Lawn Tennis community (KSLT) was founded in April 2021 by a group of tennis enthusiasts and the heads of Bishkek tennis clubs. KSLT is a non-commercial association. Our goals: to develop amateur tennis and a healthy lifestyle in Bishkek and across the country, to unite the tennis community of Kyrgyzstan, to hold open tournaments in various categories and friendly matches between clubs of the city, the country and abroad, and to coordinate amateur tennis in the capital.

Together with the Tennis Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic we held the international KIA Open on the shore of Issyk-Kul, with a prize fund of 300,000 som. We organised the team matches Bishkek — Moscow (Vamos club) and Kyrgyzstan — Russia (Tennis Life club), with players from Moscow, Cheboksary, Krasnodar and other cities.

With the influx of players we expanded the men's league to five categories: Futures (beginner), Challengers (intermediate), Tour (upper intermediate), Masters (advanced) and ProMasters (highest level of mastery). On 23–25 August we held ASIAN OPEN, a major away tournament in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the CSKA and Gorky venues, bringing together the strongest amateurs from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

We launched the full KSLT website.

We developed and presented the first KSLT mobile app. On 16–18 July the large-scale SUMMER BREEZE CUP 2026 took place on the shore of Issyk-Kul (Kapriz resort), with a prize fund of 190,000 som and more than 120 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Russia.

Over the years KSLT has held more than 120 rating tournaments (men's and women's singles and doubles), more than 150 friendly ones (28 in 2024, 10 in 2025) and more than 30 international ones (4 in 2024), with players from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and other countries. Today KSLT has more than 350 registered members and over 900 participants in the community chats — among them the heads of leading companies and organisations of Kyrgyzstan.
